We all suffer at some point in our lives with self doubt.

 

All of us. You know the ‘negative self talk’ inside our heads.

 

Its quite natural and you shouldn’t think you are different to other women because I suspect most women have done it.

 

I know I did for years and its just recently that I have learnt to just let go and get on with things because you know for things to change in our lives we have to change.

 

We have to learn that it doesn’t matter what other people think about us. We have to be true to ourselves and if you have a dream or something that you have a burning desire to do, just get on and do it.

1. Positive Self Talk

 

Stop giving yourself reasons to not do something because you are fearful and worried about what someone might say to you. Its your life.

Say ….  I CAN ….  I WILL. This is a little mantra, I write them on my garage wall where I film my videos, do my exercise and basically come to to gain some clarity for most situations.

 

Its one of my ‘Happy Places’ besides the beach ;-)

2. Daily Focus

 

Our day is full of distractions. Focus on whats important.

 

What things today will make the biggest difference in your life. Don’t overthink it. JUST DO IT!!

 

3. Daily Transitioning

 

We all have roles to play in our daily lives – Mother, Wife, employee, carer etc. Transitioning between these roles is difficult so breaking it down into 3 parts helps me immensely.

 

i.  Planning – prepare things ahead of time like writing a list of groceries you need from the store before you go. This way you will be more unlikely to put foods that you need to avoid into your basket such as sugary processed snacks.

 

ii. Visualise – see yourself where you want to be. When a negative thought pops into your head think about how you will feel when you are fit and toned and your body is well nourished with beautiful nutritious foods.

 

iii. Perseverance – rinse and repeat. NEVER GIVE UP!
